Helen Lee Robinson is a Glasgow based visual artist, primarily working in miniature oil painting. She paints miniture scenes, objects and moments that create a sense of nostalgia and focus on the minutiae and drama of life. Her work aims to turn small moments easily missed or unnoticed, into detailed intricate paintings, romanticised or distorted like a dream or memory. Trinkets, food, snippets of scenery, interactions between friends all grow from their everyday nature into symbols punctuating suspended moments the viewer must peer into.

Robinson graduated in painting from Glasgow School of Art in 2018 and has been part of numerous group and solo shows since 2018. She exhibited in The National Portrait Gallery as part of the BP Portrait Award in 2019, and appeared on Sky Portrait Artist of the Year in 2024. Helen is a part of the Glasgow based collective – G20 collective - comprising of 15 multimedia artists who work and exhibit together.
