A collaboration between artists Andrew Sutherland and Helen Eel Robinson, the short film ‘Yuck’ was exhibited in 2023 with an accompanying immersive installation at New Glasgow Society in Finnieston, Glasgow.  The film is centred around the bizarre relationship between a fisherperson and an amorphous blob who inhabits the river. It is a strange moral tale of self-loathing, love, hatred and self-metamorphosis set in Scottish wilderness and miniature worlds. Full of strange scenes and imagined characters, with props, costumes and sets made by Sutherland and Robinson, the film takes place both above and below the water and plays with scale in a surreal way.
